Abstract

The utilization of offline maps in land operations for Marine Corps soldiers is very
important considering that combat terrain conditions often occur in areas with limited or no
internet connection. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using offline maps in
monitoring land operation tactics, employing a literature review method and analysis of offline
map technology applications that support military activities. The research results show that
offline maps enable soldiers to plan routes, mark strategic locations, and monitor tactical
movements in real-time without relying on internet networks. Additionally, the map
personalization features and the ability to share data among team members enhance
coordination and operational effectiveness. Thus, the utilization of offline maps can improve the
readiness and responsiveness of Marine Corps soldiers in facing the complex and unpredictable
dynamics of combat terrain
